This free Ai chatbot is better than ChatGPT (thanks Elon Musk)

You probably thought ChatGPT was the king of the Ai mountain. Well, it was. Until Elon Musk entered the game. 2025 is the dawn of a new age….

because xAi just released 4 new updates for Grok (the Ai chatbot on X.com) that have surpassed ChatGPT as the best Ai chatbot on the internet:

1. Grok is free

2. Ai image generation

3. Ai image analysis

4. Post analysis

If you want a free alternative to ChatGPT that is more robust, up to date, truth seeking, and has more features, you need to play with Grok.

Grok is Free 🏴󠁺󠁡󠁦󠁳󠁿

If you haven’t heard of Grok, it is a ChatGPT alternative where you can chat with an Ai and prompt questions. For example, “explain Bitcoin at a 5th grade reading level”. In recent updates, Grok achieved parity with ChatGPT. The answers are incredibly detailed succint, and accurate. It’s wild how xAi caught up to OpenAi so quickly.

ChatGPT has a free tier - however, it has limited features and does not have access to recent information. They have paid tiers of $20 and $200 per month that are more robust and up to date.

Grok is now free for all X users. It has access to real-time info in the world and more features than ChatGPT such as image generation, analysis, and post analysis ⬇️.

The X factor

Grok has access to real-time information. ChatGPT does not.

This is a big deal. If you want to know the latest on the mysterious drones flying over NJ - Grok will have answers for you instantly. Or about Google’s new quantum chip - Grok can speak on it. Meanwhile, other Ai’s haven’t been updated with that info.

Because Grok is plugged into the X platform, it receives information as people post on the platform. This gives Grok a massive advantage. ChatGPT receives it’s updates periodically and through plugins.

Grok Image Generation

Grok can generate any image you want in seconds - for free.

They aren’t high resolution images. And cannot compete with a premium Ai image tool like Midjourney. But Grok images are perfect for whipping up a funny meme in seconds and posting to social media.

This X users garnered 6M+ impressions on X from a quick image he generated with Grok:

Grok Image Analysis

According to Elon Musk, you can upload blood test results, an MRI, or an X-Ray to Grok and it will analyze it and provide you with instant feedback. And the results are incredibly impressive…

Another X user uploaded an MRI of her spine, and Grok was able to detect something other doctors missed 🫢.

Insane. This feature changes the game…and it’s free.

It’s not to say doctors will be replaced by Ai, but it does give us unique insight into how Ai will be implemented into the medical field to aid doctors and patients in detecting things that may otherwise go overlooked.

If you want a free second opinion of your X-rays, use Grok. I know I will.

Grok Post Analysis

Post analysis gives X users the ability to have Grok analyze and break down any post on the platform.

For example, this Bitcoin chart:

I don’t understand how to read financial charts. But I like Bitcoin. So I had Grok explain it for me:

And from here, I can prompt Grok with follow up questions.

Grok goes on much longer (the image is cut off) explaining how to read a chart like this. I don’t think people realize how much of a superpower this is. I can now learn new topics 10x faster than I traditionally would.

Instead of opening a new tab and searching up ‘financial charts 101’ on Google, Grok can teach me from a specific post on X. Providing me with context and allowing me to go deeper with further questioning. This substitutes static web pages with a personal tutor over my shoulder who understands the exact image I’m referencing and has unlimited knowledge. Wow.

xAi vision

Elon Musk took Grok from nothing to on par with ChatGPT in a few months, It’s just that good.

But this wasn’t an accident. He did this by launching the world’s largest Ai supercomputer in Memphis TN a couple months ago. In 2025, he plans to rapidly expand this facility and become the #1 Ai in the world.

Because humanity rests in the balance. Elon is highly motivated to develop an Ai that is ultimately truth seeking and not an existential threat to humanity. He is also motivated to defeat OpenAi after being deceived by Sam Altman out of $50M when he bait and switched OpenAi from an open source non-profit to a closed source for-profit.
